Installing Linux
When installing Linux on a system with SCSI/Raid in it and you get errors. If all else fails, flash the BIOS of the Raid card. The two machines that I had problems with, that was the solution.

cool! i recently bought a MSI KT266 PRO RAID board, and the stack i was using under linux was bugging up a lot... seems that it did help it out, and i found this place by accident :) thanks!
