RedHat and Intel i810

So we have a machine in our test lab that has an Intel Integrated video chipset on it.

[root@localhost root]# lspci | grep VGA
00:01.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corp. 82810E DC-133 CGC [Chipset Graphics Controller] (rev 03)

I know it has 3D hardware acceleration support because older versions of RedHat worked just fine on it, as did Mandrake 9.1 RedHat 9.0 out of the box seemed to not enable the acceleration. I tried everything I could think of, Googled all over, still no luck. Today I happened upon a site that said that 3D acceleration only works in 16 bit!

I'm sure it's a limitation of the card... I bump down into 16bit via redhat-config-xfree86 and I'm flying in 3D acceleration baby. WOOHOO!

Sorry about that, how in the world Do i get my Red hat to work. I knot this is not the right place to ask, but I've tried everything. I can run Mandrake (all versions) just fine, but Red Hat will just not display.
